No parent should have to experience the heartbreak of losing a baby. But right now in Australia, 1 in 130 pregnancies ends in stillbirth, and 8% of babies are born too soon…

Mercy Perinatal is working to change these numbers through life-saving research, world-class maternity care, and education for healthcare providers.

That’s why Mercy Health is launching its first-ever 24-hour Treadmill Challenge, proudly supported by the City of Banyule!

Walk, jog, or run for 30 minutes or more at Mercy Hospital in Heidelberg or WaterMarc in Greensborough during this 24-hour event.

Event Details

When: 12pm Fri 20 Jun – 12pm Sat 21 Jun

Location 1: Level 4, Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg

Location 2: WaterMarc Aquatic & Fitness Centre (standard trading hours apply)

Taking part in this challenge is easy. All you need to do is to buy a ticket, or run for free with a fundraising pledge to support Mercy Perinatal.

Whether you want to sign up as a Fundraiser with a pledge target, or buy a time block to walk, jog or run as a Ticket Runner, every step and every dollar raised will make a difference by supporting Mercy Perinatal!
