Our Very Own Ben Leslie wins PT/Gym Instructor of the Year at 2026 ARV Awards

WaterMarc has been celebrated at the 50th annual 2026 Aquatics & Recreation Victoria (ARV) Industry Awards, with one standout team member recognised for making a meaningful impact on both members and club culture.

Ben Leslie was awarded PT/Gym Instructor of the Year, a prestigious honour that highlights excellence in fitness leadership and community contribution.

Our Venue Manager Renee Asciak said the recognition reflects Ben’s dedication to supporting members and cultivating a positive environment within the venue.

“Ben has been an outstanding asset to the WaterMarc team and community. We are so proud to see his hard work and contribution recognised,” Renee commented.

Known for an approachable style and commitment to helping individuals achieve their goals, Ben plays a key role in welcoming and motivating others across the gym floor. His work extends beyond one-on-one training, contributing to a strong team culture that enhances the overall member experience.

The ARV Industry Awards celebrate excellence across Victoria’s aquatics and recreation sector, recognising individuals and facilities that make a lasting difference in their communities. For us, this award reinforces its focus on delivering high-quality fitness experiences that support both physical and social wellbeing.

Through our gym, group fitness programs and broader health and wellbeing initiatives, we continue to be a hub for connection that supports people of all ages and abilities on their health and fitness journeys.

Congratulations to each of the finalists and winners across the industry who together are helping create healthier and more connected communities.
